Migrant kids: What’s happening to detainees outside public eye?

A federal judge has ordered reunification of immigrant children and parents.

Instead, it seems there is a black site operations underway - to hide the children from public view and keep their identity and location unknown - in our own country.

These "ghost detainees" have been rendered to detention centers or held in secret foster homes. Furthermore, cases of abuse - including young detainees in Virginia who say they were strapped in chairs with bags on their head - have been brought forward.

This situation is tortuous for these families and most American citizens. The civilized world is condemning the separation of families. I do not want the tax dollars I give to our government being used to support the separation and traumatizing of immigrant children.

Organizations have offered to help our government reunite these families. Our elected officials need to work to reunite these children with their parents before it is too late, and pass humane immigration legislation.
