Impeachment: Farce ends, and Trump comes out stronger
The impeachment farce is finally over. It wasn’t just a waste of time; it was a colossal waste of time and taxpayer money.
The Democrats and the anti-Trump media hitched their wagon to Congressman Adam Schiff, a serial liar, and they got burned again. First, it was the Russian hoax. Next Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared a phony constitutional crisis, a coverup then impeachment. Virtually the entire liberal media parroted her words like robots.
The hearings in the House were flatly unfair and flawed from beginning to end. Four constitutional lawyers testified on the last day, three for the Democrats and one for the Republicans. That’s fair?
House Democrats did a slipshod job but Pelosi thought Schiff would razzle-dazzle everyone. It flopped. Trump’s defense team proved he didn’t commit a crime or an impeachable offense and if not for politics, a motion to dismiss would have been appropriate.
Trump’s poll numbers have risen and his State of the Union speech was superb. All Pelosi was left with was a torn-up speech and a bruised ego when Trump unintentionally missed her handshake. She needs to grow up and get over it.
