Epidemic: Trump held to higher standard than Obama

Never miss an opportunity for political gain.

In 2009 there were 1,000 deaths from the swine flu in the United States before the Obama Administration, right or wrongly, really got involved. And the liberal press was mostly silent when it came to any criticism of the lack of action.

In 2020 after a comparatively small fraction of deaths from the coronavirus, the liberal press has been highly critical of most everything the Trump administration has or hasn’t done. The disease was said to have started in China two months before that country notified the Trump administration, yet by reading the TNT and hearing many news outlets, seldom do we hear anything but criticism of President Trump.

He’s been accused of being a Russian agent who doesn’t know what he’s doing and of having no plan to eliminate a disease that started elsewhere.

Obama was praised for his handling of the swine flu that ultimately killed nearly 12,500 Americans. Today, we have had a shutdown of all major events, which probably deserves some praise, but will that praise happen?
