Coronavirus: Maybe being closeminded is a symptom

The News Tribune has performed well as the only major newspaper in Pierce County to keep us informed of the latest fake news and conspiracy theories.

An example would be the current flap over the COVID-19 pandemic. Surveys indicate (surprise,surprise) that which political party one supports determines what one believes about the virus.

Perhaps we shouldn’t believe everything we think, and we shouldn’t think it to begin with just because a media talking head blathers it.

Remember, when we jump to conclusions there isn’t always a safety net.
