Milennials: First choice gone? Too bad; vote anyway
Re: “Young voters know what they want but don’t see it being offered,” (TNT, 3/24).
Welcome to the real world! I have voted in every election since 1960 and rarely had my first choice on the ballot, but I voted anyway because it is my duty as a citizen.
I spent a career protecting that American right and have been too often dismayed at the poor turnout.
Not voting because you don’t like the choices is shortsighted and irresponsible, tantamount to a spoiled child not getting his way.
Grow up, become a responsible citizen, make an informed choice and vote. There is absolutely no excuse not to with Washington’s vote-by-mail system. How much easier could it get?
