Trump: Refusal to release tax records is frightening

I am furious about the policies and opinions voiced by our disturbed, ignorant president whom I, and many others, believe is unfit to hold the office.

His base of supporters agree with those policies and opinions and won’t be swayed by this letter or any dissenting opinion on major issues.

But it is harder for me to understand their support for Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns, which every other president has done.

In 2016, Trump said his taxes were under audit, and when this was completed, he would release them. He lied, probably one of thousands of lies he’s made throughout his administration.

Then he took it to the Supreme Court, saying he is above the law. How can it be more obvious, even to diehard supporters, that he has something to hide?

The more he digs in, the more his critics imagine there is evidence of fraud,, possibly rising to criminal levels which could lead to prosecution when he leaves office.

In comparison to other issues, this may seem minor to some people, but it is frightening to me.
