The protests and riots in Baltimore are just one example of failed liberal governance/policies.
Democrats have been throwing money and social service programs at poverty for years, and the poverty rated has not decreased. Daniel Patrick Moynihan's 1965 study pinpointed the problem: a breakdown of the black family. Liberals denounced him as a racist.
Without the minority vote, Democrats can't win most elections so they continue on the same path of buying votes with more and more programs to "help" the poor.
All it has done is create dependency. Those are the words of Elbery Guillory, a black senator from the 24th District of Louisiana, who left the "party of disappointment" to join the Republican Party. He calls social welfare programs just mechanisms for Democrats to control the black community.
The liberals' "War on Poverty" is over. The liberals lost. Time for a Republican president and conservative policies that will create greater economic growth and better-paying jobs.
