LINDQUIST: Deputies' guild supports recall drive

The writer criticizes The News Tribune for having “jumped the shark” in its coverage of Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist.

“The TNT has been covering the Lindquist story ad nauseam, redundantly reporting the same facts over and over again highlighted with bold-print headlines.”

Here is a new fact: The Pierce County Deputy Sheriff’s Independent Guild endorsed the recall of Lindquist on Aug. 11. The endorsement of the largest law enforcement union local in Pierce County sends a powerful message to the community about the gravity of Lindquist’s misfeasance in office.
