Guns: Obama's address treated inappropriately

Re: Your front-page (TNT, 1-6) treatment of President Barack Obama’s address to the nation.

I found the use of the words “weepy” and “comic” entirely inappropriate in The Washington Post story of this important event and in a sub-headline. I read The New York Times and several other reports on the speech, no other source characterized it in this cavalier and offensive manner.

I watched the entire televised (36 minutes) address and saw nothing that justified the use of those words.

Anyone who watched the president deliver this address and then chose those words must either have a heart of stone or be in the pocket of the gun lobby, or both.
