Terrorism: The nation needs new leadership

Re: “Krauthammer’s hammering is no help” (letter, 3-26).

The writer contends that columnist Charles Krauthammer (column, 3-25) “hammers” President Obama again for his “holiday” In Cuba and Argentina while Belgium was terrorized. She believes Krauthammer should come forth with solutions, not criticisms.

She parrots the Democrats when she blames past Republican actions for the present Middle East killing grounds. The terrorists’ killing was quickly moved to America, and the world. The Islamic State is murdering Americans in Europe and America.

The liberals blame Republican past actions for America’s current insecurity, however, Barack Obama and the liberals have had more than seven years to create security in America. We now face a growth of terror in the world by small groups using conventional weapons and future weapons of mass destruction.

Further, the madmen in Iran - a nation soon to have nuclear missiles - threaten to kill Americans every day. Meanwhile, Obama and the Democrats assure Americans we have nothing to fear but fear itself while our president plays in the Americas.

We need new leadership that will bring security to our country.
