Methanol: Time to listen to what we're saying

I opposed the methanol plant for the same reasons many did.

We are trying to protect what we have remaining of our environment. A plant that would have added air pollution and use 10 million gallons of water a day was unacceptable. We don’t need more plastics in our environment, our water and our oceans.

We are not against development or creating jobs, but we are against destruction of our world. Maybe it’s time to listen to what many people are saying, instead of forcing things on us we do not want.

We must learn to live on the planet we inhabit, not destroy it.
