Mother’s Day is coming up on Sunday, and it’s one of the most important family days of the year. One very important mother that many of us in Washington are not going to be able to see is our beloved grandmother. We are encouraging state voters to sign Initiative 1431 for grandparents’ visitation rights.
Mother’s Day is the day that we should all celebrate our mothers and grandmothers for all the love and guidance they give us. Grandma is the first person we go to when we see that girl or boy that takes our fancy, gives us unconditional love, has a cozy and comfy home, eats the concoctions that we cook up in her kitchen no matter how gross. She gives us the love and guidance that will last our whole lives.
These are blessings many children in Washington will never know. Help our grandchildren have visitation with their wonderful and loving grandparents.
