Police: Don't forget that cops' lives matter

I have been waiting for the outrage from the citizens of Tacoma regarding the assassinations of police officers across this country. Do these atrocities only bring out the masses when it happens in our back yard? I remember not long ago when it did.

Why is there never a mention of all the good things that cops do? All the people that they help day in and day out? All the lives they save by being there when they are needed most? By their contributions to the many charities that serve the needy, and by their volunteerism with kids and the elderly?

Let us, the people of Tacoma and surrounding communities, show our support. For five days, fly anything blue and tie it to your car or truck. Also consider doing what I do every day: The next time you see a police officer, thank them for their service to our communities.
