Big Sky, big snow, big jumps: Warren Miller's show coming to Tacoma
Tickets go on sale today for the latest extreme skiing film from Warren Miller Entertainment and this year’s movie, “Line of Descent,” once again pulls talent from the South Sound area.
Tyler Ceccanti, a Lake Tapps resident who calls Crystal his home mountain, has a starring role in the annual ski movie.
“Skiing is still my passion,” Ceccanti told The News Tribune last year. “I consider it my part-time job.” Ceccanti, 28, also works in construction.
Ceccanti’s segment for the film was shot in Montana.
“Line of Descent” tickets are $22 and come with an array of swag including discounted and free lift tickets at Crystal, Stevens Pass and other Northwest ski resorts.
Tickets for the Nov. 10 Tacoma show went on sale Tuesday online and at the Pantages box office, 901 Broadway, and Sturtevant’s Ski Mart, 2220 S. 37th St.
Shows are also scheduled for Enumclaw’s Chalet Theatre on Nov. 2, Olympia’s Washington Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 9 and Bremerton’s Admiral Theatre on Nov. 15.
