Price of a family ski vacation

Washington has no destination ski resorts like its neighbors, so it can be a considerably cheaper place for a family vacation.

The News Tribune called for slope-side accommodations at the most popular destination resorts in Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia as well as Crystal Mountain, Washington’s largest ski area.

The rates below are based on a family of four staying three nights and hitting the slopes for two days with a teenager and a child in lessons.
