100

That was the score Josh Tiegs, a 15-year-old shooter from Auburn, shot to best 376 other shooters and win the Browning Grand Pacific Championship Handicap event at the Pacific International Trap Shooting’s annual PITA Grand Pacific competition. This year’s event was held at the Evergreen Sportsman’s Club near Littlerock in July. Shooting a Browning Citori XT Trap over/under shotgun from the 25-yard line, Tiegs took home the championship handicap prize money for his 100 straight. Also, because he used a Browning shotgun, Tiegs also took home an additional $5,000 check, courtesy of Browning.
