Sacks of Love, a race with a hilarious logo and an important message, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Oct. 25 at Heritage Park in Puyallup.
The 5K race aims to raise awareness about testicular cancer, remind men to examine themselves once per month and, according to its website, “end the negative stigma surrounding testicular cancer and create (an) environment where men are comfortable to share their experiences and get the resources that they need.”
Sacks of Love, whose logo is a heart surrounding a pair of testicles, is a nonprofit that, according to its website, has distributed thousands of early detections materials and hosted events such as the 5K.
Registration is $40. For more information visit sacksoflove.org.
