Check out 2015 models at Tacoma RV Show

More than 250 makes and models will be on display when the 32nd annual Tacoma RV Show opens Thursday.

This year’s show will feature just about every class of recreation vehicle, including 2015 models of pop-up trailers, travel trailers, fifth-wheel trailers, truck campers and motor homes.

Among the dealers that will be on hand are Apache Camping Center from Tacoma, South Hill RV in Puyallup, Sumner RV Center, Tacoma RV Center, Clear Creek RV Center of Silverdale and Open Road RV of Monroe.

The show’s highlights will include:

FIFTH WHEELS: On display by Paul Evert’s RV Country of Fife, the 2015 Reflection from Grand Design features three slide outs and a rear living area. Also on display will be the Solitude fifth wheel —which features a front living space, five slide outs and a rear bedroom with a private entry — and the vintage-style Riverside RV Retro, a lightweight, no-frills trailer ideal for weekend getaways.

FAMILY SIZE: The Forest River Cascade 19RL will be featured by Poulsbo RV. Built in the Northwest, it is large enough to hold a growing family, yet light enough to be towed by a wide range of sport utility vehicles. Puyallup RV will be showing the 19-foot lightweight Dutchman. The half-ton trailer includes a front queen bed and an oversized U-shaped dinette for extra seating and sleeping space. Valley RV Supercenter in Kent will be showing the 2015 Jay Feather, a hybrid model that combines a hard-sided trailer with the added room of slide-out sleeping tents at each end.

TOY HAULERS: The Cruise Stryker will be shown by Baydo’s RV Center of Fife. It includes a large slide out for more space in the main living room, while still leaving room to carry toys. Evert’s RV Country will be showing the 40-Momentum fifth-wheel toy hauler, blending luxury accommodations with space to haul your gear.

DESTINATION INFO: Lots of people are going to be looking for places to go this summer, according to a survey from Campfire Canvass. A recent survey of RV owners showed 53 percent plan to use their RV more this year. To help people find places to go, several exhibitors will be on hand to represent RV destinations.
