The Fly Fishing Show comes to Lynnwood this weekend

Fly-fishing guides, casting instructors, fly-tiers and authors will be on hand this weekend when The Fly Fishing Show rolls into Lynnwood for its third year there.

The show will feature free seminars, paid classes, casting demonstrations, destination programs, manufacturer booths and the Fly Fishing Learning Center presented by the International Federation of Fly Fishers.

Among the presenters scheduled to be at the show are Leland Miyawaki, Jack Mitchell, Blake Merwin, Cecilia “Pudge” Kleinkauf, Gary Borger, Philip Rowley and Denny Rickards.

This year’s show also includes the International Fly Fishing Film Festival on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 that night.

The show will run 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.

Tickets are $15 for a one-day pass and $25 for a two-day pass. Active military can get in for $10. Children 4 and younger, and Scouts wearing their uniform are admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased on the show’s website, or at the gate (cash only).
