Chisholm’s homer leads Jackson to 4-2 win over Chattanooga

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- Jazz Chisholm hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning, leading the Jackson Generals to a 4-2 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts on Wednesday.

The home run by Chisholm scored Daulton Varsho to tie the game 2-2.

The Generals took the lead for good in the fifth when Pavin Smith hit a two-run home run.

Jackson right-hander Bo Takahashi (1-0) picked up the win after allowing two runs on four hits over five innings. Opposing starter Rob Wooten (0-1) took the loss in the Southern League game after allowing four runs and seven hits over five innings.
