Last tournament: This is the Tour’s so-called “fifth” major — and a tournament in which Moore has played consistently but not great. He has made the cut at this tournament in seven of the past eight years, including a tied-for-26th effort last season (4-under-par 284). In the past five made cuts, the Cascade Christian product has opened with an under-par score, including a 67 in 2010. Moore has not missed a cut since October. … Putnam has missed back-to-back cuts — the RBC Heritage (April 19) and Zurich Classic (April 26). As the Web.com Tour player of the year in 2013 and its regular-season money leader, Putnam got an automatic exemption into The Players Championship last year for the first time. He missed the cut (4-over 148).
