OCCIDENTAL COLLEGE (0-0) at PUGET SOUND (1-0)
1 p.m. Saturday, Baker Stadium, Tacoma
The series: Occidental leads, 5-2. The Tigers have won the past five games, including a 34-32 victory over the Loggers last season in Los Angeles.
Skinny: The good news about the Loggers’ 22-19 overtime win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps last week? They committed five turnovers, and still won. The bad news? Well, they better play better this week against a tougher SCIAC opponent. Occidental features as good an offensive backfield as UPS will face this season with quarterback Bryan Scott (171 for 271, 1,998 yards, 17 TDs) and bruising running back Kwame Do (195 rushes, 1,078 yards, eight TDs). … A year ago, this rivalry marked UPS quarterback Hans Fortune’s first career start after Braden Foley was injured in the season opener. Fortune threw for 533 yards and five touchdowns in the loss.

Parking changes: With all the renovation going on at Memorial Fieldhouse across the street from Baker Stadium, football parking is much different for this season. Spectators are asked to use the Thompson Lot (P-4) off Union Avenue just north of the football stadium, and Wheelock Student Center just off Alder Street. Tailgating will be limited to the grass areas near the baseball facility.
TNT pick: UPS, 30-28.
