The Huskies were back on the practice field today, but this one was closed to the media as it will be Friday. We'll get another in-person look Saturday.
On Wednesday, the Huskies were off – but not completely.
On a day when no practice was scheduled, Willingham strongly recommended that his players attend a career fair on campus.
Most complied, although a view good-naturedly indicated that they might have found better uses for their free time.
"It's important for our young men to have other options in their life," he said. "It is my belief that any time you have options you have power, and when you have power you have control and you can dictate what happens in your life. And that's what we want for our young men: We want them to have those options, those powers, those controls in their life. Attending a career fair is just another one of those options."
I'll write about that in tomorrow's paper.
And also on the proposed NCAA rule that would ban text messaging of recruits.
