Brock Huard, the ex-University of Washington great at quarterback, will be the guest speaker at the 34th Annual National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Pierce County Chapter Scholar/Athlete Banquet next month.
Huard, who held 20 passing records when he left the UW in 1999, is now a radio personality for ESPN 710-AM. He is also a Puyallup High graduate where he also was the NFF local chapter scholar-athlete winner.
The master of ceremony is Bob Robertson, currently the play-by-play announcer for Washington State football.
The dinner-ceremony is scheduled for May 2 at the Curtis High School cafeteria. Start time is 4 p.m.
