Here was coach Lorenzo Romar's update on starting guard Scott Suggs who went down in the first half of tonight's win at Arizona State:
Before they really really look at it, it seems that he has a sprained MCL. Sprained a little like he did in Maui. … In these type of injuries you don’t know until the next morning, two days. We know it’s a sprained MCL from what we understand, but we don’t know anything else and probably won’t know until probably the next day or two.
Even at that, Romar said he doesn't expect Suggs to be available Saturday for the big game at Arizona. And he said he hasn't decided who would step into the starting lineup if Suggs can't go.
