Basketball season doesn't officially start for a month, but the Huskies got some good and expected news as point guard Abdul Gaddy has officially been cleared by team officials to return for full action.
Gaddy met with team doctor Chris Wahl, head trainer Pat Jenkins and Head Coach Lorenzo Romar on Wednesday morning and received a clean bill of health.
"They pretty much told me it's like I have never gotten hurt now," Gaddy said,.
He suffered the injury nine months ago. But has been running, cutting, jumping and working out at full speed for the last few weeks. Now it's official and there will be no limitations for him when the Huskies begin practice.
"Just go play," Gaddy said about what the doctors told him.
