APPLE CUP 2011: Washington 38, Washington State 21

For a game that supposedly meant nothing to people outside of the state of  Washington and the two schools fan bases, it was still the Apple Cup featuring passion, intensity and big plays.

The Huskies rolled up 434 yards of total offense. Keith Price threw for 291 yards and broke the school record for touchdown passes in the season with 29.

Freshman wide receiver Kasen Williams, who said he wanted to make his mark on the rivalry earlier week, did just that catching a pair of first half touchdowns.

Washington will likely either go to the Sun Bowl or the Holiday Bowl.

The seven regular seasons is the most since 2002.
