Despite a lackluster first half during their 45-14 win on saturday over Georgia State, the Washington Huskies moved up to "29th" in the USA Today coaches poll, and "32nd" in the Associated Press top 25 poll.
UW received 62 votes in the coaches poll, the fourth-most among teams that didn't crack the top 25. The Huskies received 44 votes in that poll last week.
And after receiving 14 votes in the AP poll a week ago, UW tallied 30 votes this week, moving up from "39th" to "32nd." Washington is one of nine Power Five conference teams unbeaten and unranked in the AP poll through the season's first four weeks. The others are Arizona, Oregon State, Utah, North Carolina State, Georgia Tech, Penn State, TCU and Duke (though the Blue Devils are ranked 23rd in the coaches poll).
Pac-12 teams in the polls are as follows (AP/coaches): Oregon (2/4), UCLA (11/10), Arizona State (15/12), Stanford (16/14), USC (18/22).
