Jacob Eason will attend the University of Georgia after all.
Eason, the 5-star quarterback prospect from Lake Stevens High School, got a visit on Tuesday morning from Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner, who presented him with a trophy and announced that he had been selected as the Gatorade National Player of the Year. Shortly after, Eason reportedly reaffirmed his commitment to Georgia, the school with which he signed financial-aid paperwork in August, according to the Everett Herald and other outlets.
Eason became uncertain about his commitment when Georgia fired coach Mark Richt, but after taking official visits to Florida and Washington (a long shot), and visiting with new Georgia coach Kirby Smart, Eason decided to stick with Georgia. He will enroll in January.
