According to Chris Fetters of Scout.com, the Huskies received a commitment on Thursday night from Keith Taylor, a defensive back prospect in the 2017 class from Servite (Calif.) High School.
Scout.com ranks Taylor as a 4-star prospect, and the No. 22 cornerback in the 2017 class. He is listed at 6-foot-2.5 and 180 pounds, and lists an offer from San Jose State.
Taylor, who transferred to Servite from St. John Bosco, took an unofficial visit to Washington in November and told Scout.com that he “loved it.”
Taylor is the first player to commit to UW in the 2017 class.
