Washington Huskies men’s basketball signee Markelle Fultz continues to impress at the Les Schwab Invitational.
Fultz scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had nine assists as his No. 4-ranked DeMatha Catholic team beat No. 3-ranked Garfield, 74-64, in the tournament semifinals in Hillsboro, Oregon. Daejon Davis, a 6-foot-3 junior guard in the 2017 recruiting class who is committed to UW, scored 14 points for Garfield. Here is the box score. Huskies coach Lorenzo Romar, assistant Raphael Chillious and a few UW players made the trip down to watch.
There was a lot of buzz afterward about one of Fultz’s dunks, which you can see in the video below.

Fultz also had a couple impressive blocks, and both him and Davis created some highlights earlier in the day during the dunk contest. Foss junior Roberto Gittens took home the dunk contest championship.
DeMatha faces Oak Hill on Wednesday in the tournament championship.
