COACH: Todd Graham (32-17 in fourth season at ASU; 81-46 in 10th season overall)

AGAINST THE HUSKIES: ASU leads the all-time series 17-15.

SCOUTING REPORT: The last time Washington beat Arizona State: Oct. 27, 2001, a 33-31 UW victory in Tempe. The Huskies have lost nine consecutive games to ASU in the 13 seasons since, including a 53-24 blowout in their last visit to Sun Devil Stadium (2013). … ASU has taken a bit of a step back in Graham’s fourth season, and is on a three-game losing streak after a 38-24 defeat at Washington State last weekend. The Sun Devils took an early 14-0 lead, but WSU mostly dominated in the second half. And the last time ASU played at home, it lost 61-55 in triple overtime to Oregon. … Mike Bercovici, ASU’s fifth-year senior quarterback, completes only 59.2 percent of his passes (with 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions). He’s also rushed for five touchdowns, but has a total of just 81 yards rushing. … Demario Richard has developed into a reliable tailback, and leads the Sun Devils with 775 yards and six touchdowns on 138 carries. Kalen Ballage has rushed for 394 yards and two touchdowns. … Devin Lucien, Tim White and ex-running back D.J. Foster give ASU some talented options at receiver. Lucien leads the team in receiving yards (477), Foster leads in receptions (45) and White leads in touchdowns (six). … If one thing is certain about the Sun Devils on defense, it’s that they’re going to blitz. A lot. And ASU ranks fourth nationally with an average of 3.56 sacks per game. Linebacker D.J. Calhoun leads the team with 5.5. … ASU gives up a lot of points: It ranks 96th nationally in scoring defense (32.2 points per game).

UCLA BRUINS (7-2 overall, 4-2 in Pac-12)

AGAINST THE COUGARS: UCLA leads the all-time series 40-18-1.

SCOUTING REPORT: After back-to-back losses to Arizona State and Stanford, the Bruins have won three consecutive games and remain alive in the Pac-12 South race. During the winning streak, freshman quarterback Josh Rosen has completed 66.4 percent of his passes for 994 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions. He’s thrown for 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season, but threw four of those picks in his first three games. … Running back Paul Perkins is having another strong season, and leads the team with 961 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns (and averages 6.0 yards per carry). Soso Jamabo, Nate Starks and Bolu Olurunfunmi provide capable backfield depth. … Jordan Payton has 50 receptions for 752 yards and four touchdowns, and Thomas Duarte has 666 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. … UCLA’s defense has been thinned by injuries — star linebacker Myles Jack sustained a season-ending knee injury in September and has decided to enter the NFL draft — though the Bruins rank 34th nationally in yards per play allowed at 4.95. Last week’s 41-0 shutout of Oregon State moved UCLA to 55th nationally in scoring defense. The Bruins allow 24.6 points per game. … WSU hasn’t beaten UCLA since a 27-7 victory in Pullman in 2007. The teams haven’t played since 2012, when the Bruins won 44-36 at Martin Stadium.

DID YOU KNOW? Cordell Broadus, son of the rapper Snoop Dogg, signed a letter of intent to play for UCLA, but quit football to “pursue other passions.” Justin Combs, a fourth-year junior defensive back, is the son of rap mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. P. Diddy was accused in June of assaulting someone at UCLA’s athletic complex with a kettlebell, but no charges were filed.
