The only real development is that Keith Price came in with 11 minutes to go to replace Jake Locker as the UW quarterback, in a game that was well on its way to being a rout.
A pass interference penalty on Adam Long could not prevent the Wildcats from their final touchdown - Matt Scott's 21-yard pass to Juron Criner - even after Scott fumbled the ball.
The TD with 11:09 to go gave Arizona a 44-14 lead.
The Wildcats ended up with 467 total yards - 234 on the ground, led by Keola Antolin's 114. Scott added 65, and Nic Grigsby chipped in with 50.
"We played better on offense tonight," Arizona coach Mike Stoops said. "We were a lot more balanced, which is encouraging."
After scoring a pair of touchdowns in the first 22 minutes, the Huskies did not tally points the rest of the way - and were shut out in the second half for the second time this season.
"I don’t know. I thought when we had that lull late in first quarter and early in second quarter, man we were missing opportunities. There were plays there for us, and for whatever reason we weren’t able to take advatange of them – whether a protection broke down, or we don’t hang onto it, or miss the thorw or get a penalty that knocks us back," UW coach Steve Sarkisian said. "We’ve got to continue to clean those things up so we can continue with the rhythm we started the last couple weeks."
