Foster lone Husky on all-Pacific-10 Conference team

Despite a late-season surge, and finished tied-for-third in the Pacific-10 Conference football standings, the University of Washington had just one representative - senior linebacker Mason Foster - on the all-conference first team, which was released Tuesday morning.

Foster, from Seaside, Calif., finished leading the league in tackles (151) - 51 ahead of teammate Nate Williams, who finished second with 100.

Members of the second team include running back Chris Polk, receiver Jermaine Kearse and Williams at strong safety.

Linebacker Victor Aiyewa, quarterback Jake Locker and defensive tackle Alameda Ta'amu were honorable mention picks.

Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck was named the Pac-10 offensive player of the year. Oregon State defensive tackle Stephen Paea was the defensive MVP and Oregon's Chip Kelly was voted the coach of the year.
