Gant, goal tend; Romar unsure; Williams hmm...

Darnell Gant thought the potential game-winning shot of his that was blocked by Darnell Williams was goaltending.

Washington coach Lorenzo Romar said he didn't get a good enough look to be sure. But he was sure that -- right or wrong -- nothing will change Arizona's 87-86 win over the Huskies today in Tucson.

Romar: I don’t know. I’m going to look at it. I can’t wait to look at it on film. And if I thought it would change the matter I would look at it right now. But it’s not going to change, so whether it was or not, I don’t know.

Gant: I thought it was a goaltend. I thought I got it up before he could get there. I thought the ball was coming down, but they called the other way.

I thought I was going to make it. Coach set up a good play.

Williams: When I was going up, that's when he first released the ball. I just tapped it perfectly, and lockily they didn't call goaltending. I believe if we were at Washington, they might have called it goaltending, but good thing we were at home.
