WSU star 'could care less about record'

Here's a quick reaction from the WSU locker room after the two-point loss to Washington tonight, which probably means an NIT postseason bid.

COACH KEN BONEWe're all very proud of Klay and the job he did.

On the technical at end) I yelled time-ah' and I caught myself. I can totally understand why he called ... he had to call it.

"Klay was awesome. he's the best player in our league.

KLAY THOMPSON On his tournament-record 43 points)"I could care less (he set tournament record)."

"I just played my game. Just played my game."

Moore and Thompson said they expect an NIT bid, while Bone said "I don't know. I haven't had time to think about it."
