Tuesday's practice report

It was a pretty typical Tuesday practice at Husky Stadium. Pretty good energy and there was a little more hitting than maybe I anticipated - might be head coach Steve Sarkisian trying to emphasize coming out and playing physical right away.

We won't have video of Nick Holt, who didn't do a group media session after practice

On the injury front, Keith Price practiced again wearing the knee brace. He's still favoring the knee some, but it wasn't nearly as bad as yesterday. He did participate in 7-on-7 drills as well a couple the team period against the scout defense.

However when the No. 1 offense went against the No. 1 defense at the end of practice, Nick Montana took all the snaps.

It wasn't the best day for Montana. He threw a pretty deep pass to James Johnson and another nice fade route to Jermaine Kearse over Desmond Trufant -- yes, I know. But Montana also threw a handful of interceptions and had a couple bad reads.

Speaking of Kearse, he looks good. It looks as though he never sprained the ankle.

Quinton Richardson practiced and looked better. He will play on Saturday.

Garrett Gilliland (concussion) and James Sample (shoulder) both wore the red no contact jerseys.
