Wanted to get a quick links post up for around the Pac 12.
Here's my story from today's paper.
Keith Price didn’t want to consider the question. The Huskies quarterback wouldn’t entertain the possibility of not playing Saturday in UW’s Pacific-12 Conference opener against California.
“Oh no, I’m playing, I’m playing,” he said. “I’m playing this week.”
For a time it looked like he might not finish last Saturday’s 51-38 loss to Nebraska after suffering a left knee sprain in the third quarter. Price had already sprained his right knee against Eastern Washington in the Huskies’ season opener.
“Oh no, I was going to keep playing,” he said. “I was never going to sit on the bench at no point in that game. It was just a sprain.”
So what would it take to get him off the field and out of the game?
“They’d probably have to cut off my legs,” he said chuckling.
Pac 12 North
Cal: Brandon Bigelow a one-time UW commit was named special teams player of the week.
Oregon: The Oregon tight ends - David Paulson and Colt Lyerla - give the Ducks some playmakers that aren't on the perimeter.
Oregon State: It looks like James Rodgers might play. On the conference call, Mike Riley said Rodgers wouldn't be an every down again.
Stanford: Leading tackle Shane Skov has been lost for the season. Tough break for the Cardinal. He's one of the best players in the Pac 12 and a great leader.
Washington State: Cougs have a bye week, they will work on finishing.
Pac 12 South
ASU: The Sun Devils will try and learn and correct all the mistakes they made against Illinois.
Colorado: The Buffs have to travel to Ohio State, have fun with that.
UCLA: The Bruins meet Oregon State in a game both teams need to win.
Utah: A quick look at the good and bad from the game against BYU.
