Jamora out for the season with torn ACL

The University of Washington just sent out a press release announcing that sophomore defensive end Hau'oli Jamora has been lost for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

Jamora injured the knee early in the Huskies' win over Cal on Saturday.

He is Washington's best pass rusher. In three and half games, he has 15 tackles, with three tackles for loss and a sack.

The Huskies will look to youngsters Josh Shirley and Andrew Hudson to help fill the loss. Washington could also move Everette Thompson back to defensive end and use Sione Potoa'e and Danny Shelton and Lawrence Lagafuaina at defensive tackle as well.
