Video: Scott Suggs talks about his foot surgery

As for the possibility of things changing with how Washington might do things, head coach Lorenzo Romar was adamant that things will stay the same

"Our approach is the same," he said. "Nothing changes there. We have one less guy to do it, who was an experienced guy and a very good basketball player."

Had Suggs been like a 6-11 center that scored and everything ran through him, it might be different. But the system and the philosophies don't change because they lost a good wing player. The Huskies have good wing players in Terrence Ross and CJ Wilcox, who were going to share minutes with Suggs.

"Lineup-wise it’s still too early," Romar said.
