Some quick Husky hoop notes with video of Terrence Ross and Darnell Gant

Here's some video of Terrence Ross talking about Friday exhibition game and his own recollections of his first game for the Huskies, which was way back in November of last year.

Head coach Lorenzo Romar had his weekly press conference on Tuesday. Here's a few quick notes ...

Romar expects to announces the starting lineup on Thursday. But he did say that Aziz N'Diaye would likely be starting. I think it's safe to assume Darnell Gant, Abdul Gaddy and Terrence Ross.

Expect Tony Wroten to play on Friday. He's practiced in a limited fashion, but will do more starting today. Wroten says the knee feels good and is excited to practice.  He doesn't expect to have any mental hesitation about the knee when he's out on the floor.

Darnell Gant talked with Arizona's Kyle Fogg at Pac 12 media day in LA about the loss to SPU. Fogg told Gant that SPU runs their offensive sets to a "T" and really stays in them.  But Gant said that the Huskies are different defensively than Arizona.

Romar also said that if the Huskies aren't sound defensively, SPU will expose them with their offensive sets.

Romar was asked about recruiting and the fall signing period. Right now it doesn't look as though the Huskies will sign anyone in the early period.  Washington has been beaten out by WSU on Demarquise Johnson, and it haven't gotten any verbal commitments thus far.

"It's not like if you don't sign anyone else in the fall, you can't take anyone else," Romar said.

Here's some video of Darnell Gant talking about this weekend.
