The Washington Husky coaching staff had been together since Steve Sarkisian took over the Huskies - two full seasons without paid assistant leaving is relatively unheard of in college coaching.
But that changed yesterday as cornerbacks coach Demetrice Martin decided to leave the program and join new head coach Jim Mora at UCLA.
Martin was one of the Huskies top recruiters in the Southern California area.
He will join two other quality recruiters in offensive line coach Adam Klemm, who left SMU, and former WSU running back Steve Broussard, who was Arizona State's top recruiter.
Former Husky QB Marques Tuiasosopo has been with UCLA this season in an unpaid role, he will be a full-time coach for the bowl game, and hopes to continue with the program next year under Mora
