Afternoon run: Isaiah Thomas has his best NBA game

Isaiah Thomas had his best game in the NBA last night, scoring 20 points, dishing out six assists and pulling down four rebounds in the Kings' first road win of the season.

Here's some highlights.

Tonight's games ...

  • Oregon State at Arizona, 6:30 p.m. FCS Central/KWBA/RTNW
  • Utah at Stanford, 7 p.m.
  • Oregon at Arizona State, 8:30 p.m. FSN
  • Colorado at California, 8 p.m. CSN CA

Only four games tonight, but I'm excited to be able to just sit and watch games. Obviously the Colorado-Cal game is the biggest game of the night. We can see if the Buffs 3-0 start was a product of playing at home or if they are legitimately good. I still think Cal is the best team in the conference.

Colorado knows that if they want to move from pretender to contender status, then they have to win at least one of two road games this weekend.

From Ryan Thorburn's story ...

"I don't think we've gained an ounce of respect yet," head coach Tad Boyle said. "I'm not saying we should. The only way you do that is by going out and winning on the road. That's what we have to do."

Here's a

on Cal senior Harper Kamp and all he does for the team.

It will be interesting to see who Jorge Gutierrez guards tonight. He's the best defender in the league. I wonder if he will guard Carlon Brown or Spencer Dinwiddie.

The next best game is probably Oregon State at Arizona. The Beavers have the talent, but it will be interesting to see how they play on the road. They didn't look great on the trip to Washington last week. OSU is still running the Princeton offense, but it just looks a little different with all athletes running it.
