Morning kickoff: How smart are the Huskies? Pretty smart.

Ted Miller of ESPN writes about the quarterback/center combo being the brains of an offense in terms of defense recognition and sight adjustments.

He breaks down the Pac-12's QB/center combos. Obviously, USC is the leader with junior Matt Barkley and senior center Khaled Holmes. But you know who should be ranked No. 2: yep Keith Price and Drew Schaefer. Price is the best returning QB other than Barkley and Schaefer, while not an overpowering blocker, has plenty of game experience
