Friday practice report with video of Eric Kiesau and Justin Wilcox

I have some videos uploaded, but I can't get our system to process. So hopefully that will get fixed soon. Until then ...

A few practice notes ...

Players were in shorts and helmets and shoulder pads today. The addition of shoulder pads ramped up the physicality of practice. You can tell these guys have been itching to hit. Monday's practice in full pads could be very interesting.

LB John Timu practiced a little bit with linebackers. But his sore hamstring kept him limited.

Keith Price was very, very good today. After getting picked off by Thomas Tutogi in an early 7-on-7 drill, Price was outstanding. Using a short field, Price hit Austin-Seferian Jenkins on a 30-yard TD pass over the middle. Later he hit James Johnson on a pretty corner route against a cover two defense for a scoring pass. It was a perfect pass. Later, he hit ASJ in the back of the end zone for a score.

In 11-on-11, Price hit Kasen Williams on a seam pass up the hash for about a 25-yard scoring strike. Another great play that didn't result in a touchdown, but a solid gain. A bootleg play was blown up immediately, and Price rolled the opposite way from the play, ran away from Josh Shirley and hit Johnson on a crossing pattern. I think his knees are healthy.

Really, after he was picked off by Tutogi, I think Price threw only about four more incomplete passes for the rest of the practice.

No changes for the other injured guys -- all pretty much the same.

South Kitsap offensive linemen  Austin Kanouse was at his second straight practice watching, while Tumwater defensive end Jamie Bryant was also at practice watching with legendary coach Sid Otton.
