Huskies get three commits over the weekend

Besides the spring game on Saturday, it was junior weekend at Washington with a myriad of players that Steve Sarkisian and his staff are actively recruiting for 2013. It's a big event and showcase for the schools. And as often is the case, the Huskies picked up a three verbal commitments following the weekend. They will join Lakes' Sammie Long and Tumwater's Jamie Bryant, who committed earlier.

On Saturday, Bellevue linebacker Sean Constantine committed to the Huskies. Constantine is rated a three-star recruit by Scout and 20th best linebacker in the country .... Rivals.com rates him as a four-star recruit and the 15th best linebacker in the country.

From the Scout.com story (subscription needed).

“It was the family atmosphere,” said Constantine. “The overall feeling that I got with the staff, not that other schools didn’t like me, but that they had a passion for me. I didn’t meet a single bad coach at UW.”

ESPN, which also rates Constantine as a four-star player, has this
