Mid-morning kickoff: Different debuts for Brett Hundley and Mike Leach

Well, the first night of college football in the Pac-12 was far from dull. Brett Hundley took his very first snap of his career for UCLA and went 72 yards for a touchdown in a Bruins win over Rice. Meanwhile, new Washington State head coach Mike Leach endured a sloppy and touchdown-less performance from his team in a loss 30-6 loss to a very good BYU team.

Let's get to it ....

BYU 30, Washington State 6

Yes, WSU looked sloppy. Way too many penalties and two bad interceptions from Jeff Tuel hurt them. But BYU is a very good and physical football team. That what impressed me the most. That BYU team will be a Top 25 team this season.
