Final: Washington 52, Portland State 13

In a stunner, Washington hung on to a 45-0 halftime lead to trounce Portland State 52-13.

Some quick  news, notes and quotes from postgame:

> Overwhelming feeling was that Washington purged some of the funk that set in following the LSU loss. Even though the Huskies rolled past an FCS school, they were still relieved to get the offense going.

> Steve Sarkisian said nose tackle Danny Shelton, who left the game in the first half and was not in pads for the second, will be "OK," but did not disclose specifics. OL Colin Tanigawa did not play Saturday. Sarkisian said he does not know the specifics of Tanigawa's knee injury yet.

> Bishop Sankey became Washington's first 100-yard rusher of the season, rushing for 103 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.

> Keith Price threw three or more touchdowns for the ninth time in his career.

> After five more catches today, Austin Seferian-Jenkins is now sixth all-time among Washington tight ends with 61 career receptions.

> Justin Glenn said he thought something was up on the opening kickoff when he saw Portland State shift. He was right, and recovered the onside attempt.

More to come.
