Severity of Donaven Dorsey's ankle injury won't be known until Monday

Meg Wochnick, who covers preps for the Olympian and News Tribune, reports that Timberline senior Donaven Dorsey -- a UW signee -- broke his ankle on Friday. Sounds like more will be known about a timetable for his return to basketball after a Monday appointment with a specialist.

From Wochnick's story:

Thomas said Dorsey will see an orthopedic specialist Monday to know the severity of the injury. He noted if surgery isn’t necessary, Dorsey would return in as little as four weeks – right at the start of the postseason, should the Blazers make it. However, if surgery is needed, Dorsey’s season and high school career is over, Thomas said.
Dorsey, listed at 6-foot-6, is rated a 4-star prospect by Scout.com.
