Quoting Nigel Williams-Goss after UW's loss at Stanford

FROM STANFORD -- Here's some of what Washington point guard Nigel Williams-Goss had to say after Washington's 79-67 loss at Stanford. Williams-Goss led the Huskies with 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

(What do you take from this trip?) "We’ve got to go back to the drawing board. We know we’ve got to come back. We’ve got to put it behind us. We know we can’t let it carry over to our next two games at home. We’ve got to come prepared for a hard-working week at practice."

(On defending Chasson Randle) "It’s tough. He’s a great player. He really had it going tonight. Obviously with the new rules, it makes it hard to guard a lot of people. Credit to him, he had a great night."

(Did their length bother you defensively?) "Not too much. I felt like we moved the ball well. We got a lot of open shots. Shots that we usually make didn’t fall tonight. But I thought we did a really good job being patient on the offensive end, getting the shots that we wanted."

(On Randle's 3-pointer) "It’s tough. We played really good defense for 34 seconds. The guy steps through and hits a big shots. I’ve got to give credit to him. Plays like that, we felt like we did our job and some things didn’t go our way."
